Abigail Bruxvoort is a doctoral candidate in Northwestern's philosophy department. She works on issues related to moral psychology and agency. Occasionally she dabbles in figures in the history of philosophy. When she is not busy being a philosopher, she is probably cooking, knitting, or running.

Do Soon Kim

Do Soon Kim

McCormick School of Engineering, Chemical and Biological Engineering

Do Soon is a PhD student in Chemical and Biological Engineering. At Northwestern, he conducts research on engineering bacteria to produce novel biopolymers in the laboratory of Professor Michael Jewett. Outside of research, Do Soon enjoys spending time training for triathlons, reading, and missing Texas. Prior to Northwestern, Do Soon received a B. S. in Chemical Engineering from the University of Texas at Austin followed by a brief stint at Genentech.

Giorgos Mamakoukas

Giorgos Mamakoukas

McCormick School of Engineering, Mechanical Engineering

Originally from Greece, Giorgos received a bachelors degree in physics at Grinnell College. He now pursues a PhD degree in Mechanical Engineering, focusing on control algorithms to navigate underwater fish-like robots. Thanks to his liberal arts education, he enjoys involvement in other fields, particularly psychology, philosophy, economics, and politics. He love sports, music, and great discussions.

Will Marler

Will Marler

School of Communication, Media, Technology, and Society

Will Marler is a PhD student in Media, Technology, and Society in the Department of Communication Studies at NU. Will is an ethnographer who explores the relationship of media transition to social inequality in the U.S. He holds an M.A. in Islamic Studies from Washington University in St. Louis, earned on the back of three years working in education and media in Turkey.
