National Conference on Ethics and Civic Life
National Conference on Ethics and Civic Life - "Education and Citizenship"
The purpose of the conference is to reflect on the goals and accomplishments of the Brady Scholars Program, and to provide a forum for the discussion of some of the issues facing our society and the world.
On May 1, 2015, two distinguished scholars, Professors Andrew Delbanco (Columbia) and Danielle Allen (Institute for Advanced Studies) delivered keynote addresses on the themes of Education and Citizenship.
On Saturday, May 2, former and present participants in the program - undergraduates, graduate students, and faculty - shared their perceptions of the Program’s significance.
Our next conference will take place in the spring of 2018.
