Brady seminar professors, 2008-2009
Samuel Fleischacker is professor of philosophy at the University of Illinois at Chicago. He is the author of Integrity and Moral Relativism; The Ethics of Culture; A Third Concept of Liberty: Judgment and Freedom in Kant and Adam Smith; A Short History of Distributive Justice; On Adam Smith’s Wealth of Nations: A Philosophical Companion. Professor Fleischacker will be in residence for the 2008-2009 academic year.
Laurie Zoloth is Director of the Center for Bioethics, Science and Society and Professor of Medical Ethics and Humanities at Northwestern University, Feinberg School of Medicine, and Professor of Religion and a member of the Jewish Studies faculty at Northwestern University, Weinberg College of Arts and Science. She is also the Director of Northwestern University's Brady Scholars Program in Ethics and Leadership.
Christina La Font is professor of philosophy at Northwestern University. She is author of The Linguistic Turn in Hermeneutic Philosophy and Heidegger, Language, and World-disclosure.
